• Do not shave for at least 2-3 weeks, hair needs to be at least 1/8inch to be removed with sugaring

• Exfoliate the skin with a scrub 48hours before, no sooner to avoid irritation

• come to your appointment freshly showered if possible, we will clean the area to be sugared at your appointment though and their is feminine hygiene wipes and a bathroom in the suite for you to use

First I will cleanse your skin with a micellar water solution to dissolve oils and products on your skin

I will then apply a talc-free body powder from Sweet & True, it is made of Potato Starch, Kaolin (White Clay), and Tapioca Powder

This powder is a great natural alternative to baby powder and keeps the area dry so that the sugar paste will adhere to your hair

Based on the area being waxed we will use either firm paste which is applied with the hands, or soft strip sugaring paste that is applied with sticks and removed with waxing strips (it is still much gentle than traditional waxing! Due to the formula of sugaring pasta and is suitable for sensitive skin)

After the area is smooth and free of hair we will apply a second soothing cleanser that is astrigent to the area, to remove any sticky debris from the sugaring paste and disinfect the skin. Then we will apply a soothing serum or plain unscented aloe vera gel depending on your preference

Now your skin will be soft, and hairless for the next 4-6 weeks! Exfoliate the skin after 72hours to prevent ingrown hairs, with either a whipped body scrub, or an ingrown hair serum (both available for purchase at your appointment or online)
