What Is The Process?

  • We will discuss your skin type, skin goals, concerns, current medications and skincare routine to decide what products and treatments will best suite you!

  • First we will use a cream based cleanser to dissolve makeup and dirt on the skin. Then we will use a second cleanser chosen based on your skin type and concerns

  • This is the spicy part of the facial. Based on your skin type, concerns, and preferences, we will choose an enzyme face mask, or another active exfoliating mask. Steam may or may not be applied based on your skin type and the products being used. We will then perform extractions if necessary

  • This is an optional step, if you have comedones (blackheads and whiteheads) that can be extracted and are not inflamed we will use a solution to dissolve the junk inside your pores and then extract it

  • We may use modalities like

    • High frequency, boosts circulation, promotes healing, kills acne causing bacteria in the skin, calms the skin, reduces future breakouts

    • BT-Micro ultrasonic vibration. Deeply penetrate product into the skin, helps to get deep stubborn blackheads out of pores

    Modalities are not suitable for everyone, we will discuss whether they are right for you at your consultation

  • This is the BEST part of the facial! After we have exfoliate and extracted the skin, it needs some love! Massage boosts circulation, promotes nervous system calming, and drains lymphatic system to clear congestion and tension

  • After your massage, your face may be flushed due to the increased circulation. We will apply a soothing, calming mask to your face to reduce redness, and any discomfort leftover from the extractions

  • We will choose finishing products based on your skin type and concern. These products will include: facial toner, serum, eye cream, lip treatment, moisturizer, and SPF

Modalities

High Frequency

  • High frequency treatment has incredible benefits for your skin! The device has two types of light that accomplish different goals. The red light boosts circulation, and oxygenates the skin. The blue light eliminates acne-causing bacteria on the skin and prevents future breakouts

  • A facial cover is applied to the face and the machine is used in circular motions across the entire face, we go over the face 3 times with the red light, and once with the blue light as a spot treatment for acne lesions. This is used after extractions and before massage during a 60 minute facial

  • If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, open lesions on your face, or have epilepsy, we will not use high frequency on you

BT-Micro

Ultrasonic Infusion 

  • The BT-Micro device uses 30,000 Hz of ultrasonic vibrations to dislodge debris and impurities to deeply cleanse, extract and smooth the skin. This same technology can be used for extractions, product removal, and product penetration!

  • This device can be used at every stage of your facial! We use it to penetrate the desincrustation solution into your skin before extractions. And then after to deeply penetrate serums and eye cream into your skin to boost the effectiveness of the product

  • If you have a pacemaker, open lesions on your face, epilepsy, metal pins, or are pregnant (a general precaution) we will not use the device on you
